I couldn't understand then and still don't understand why God took him when He did. I am so excited though to hear that his death affected you in a positive way and lead to your short term missions' service! I'm also thrilled that one of his sons is now serving in Guatamala. How do I deal with grief? Well, I guess I remind myself of several truths- God is Sovereign, He is good all the time, His thoughts and ways are higher than mine, and He knows what is best! It isn't easy and doesn't take the pain away but at least I know that I have a Heavenly Father that loves me more than I can even imagine and that He is always there with me through every circumstance of life.
